Briget Boyle fronts a 5-piece Oakland rock band whose sound hits like Liz Phair and Sheryl Crow raised on California highways and hard truths.

Raised in a family steeped in music, Briget spent her twenties studying vocal traditions around the world before returning to her own songwriting with a decade of Bay Area stages behind her. She's fronted her band at the Ivy Room, Neck of the Woods, Hotel Utah, and the Lost Church, released four bodies of work including the acclaimed Heartbreak Residue — produced with Jacob Light at ModernTone Studios — and built a devoted following of fans who show up, sing along, and stay after the show. Her antique Gibson J45 and her voice have been her instruments of truth-telling through love, loss, family wounds, and the long road back to yourself.
